Born on 01 October 1997, Oludipe Olawasanmi David popularly known for his stage name Spyro, is a Nigerian singer, songwriter performing artist and entrepreneur.

Spyro grew up in Lagos State, Nigeria and is Yoruba by tribe. He attended New Mainland Children School for his primary education and Model College for high school.

Career and Music

Nigerian singer Spyro started his music career in 2016 while still in school. However, his career took off in 2018 after he featured Davido and Mayorkun in his song “Funke”

Unfortunately, the song did not go mainstream. In 2019, Spyro released another song titled “Gunshot”. Also in 2020, during Covid, the singer released another song “For You”.

In July 2022, Spyro released his hit single “Billing” the song became very popular among social media users especially on Tiktok. The song streamed across different music platforms and was in the 100 top Nigerian music chart.

On 25th November 2023, Spyro released another hit song “Who Is Your Guy”. The song became one of the biggest song not only in Nigeria but in Africa. Later in March, he released the remix of the song featuring Tiwa Savage.
