BeLikeNgoziChallenge: Nigerians dress like Ngozi Okonkwo-Iwela to celebrate her emergence as WTO Director-General
The hashtag #BeLikeNgoziChallenge is currently trending on Nigerian Twitter as Nigerians share photos of themselves dressed like Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala.
Some of the Nigerians participating in the challenge are mostly women, who dress up in African print and headgear that is popularly Okonjo-Iweala’s signature.
The challenge was started on Twos, to celebrate the Okonjo-Iweala, who was elected as Director-General of Workd Trade Organization on Monday February 15.
She also made history by coming the first the first woman and African to lead the organization.
This is inspiring many young women to pay homage to the economist icon on social media.
