Libianca Biography – Libianca Kenzonkinboum Fonji popularly known as Libianca, is a Cameroon-American Afrobeat singer, songwriter and audio engineer.

She is known for her breakthrough song “People” which was inspired after she got diagnosed with cyclothymia (mental disorder).  The song debuted No.1 in UK Chart and No.2 on US Billboard Afrobeat chart.

Prior to fame, Libianca competed in the twenty -first season of popular American Music talent TV show “The Voice”  in 2021. However, she only made it to top 20 before she got eliminated.

Afrobeat singer Libianca Kenzonkinboum Fonji also known as Libianca, is a Cameroonian-American singer and songwriter.

Originally, Libianca is from Bemenda, Cameroon, however, she was born 2001 in  Minneapolis, Minnesota, United States by her parents Mr and Mrs Fonji.

At the age of 4, her parents alongside her siblings relocated to Cameroon to start a new life. Growing up, Libianca developed love for music which inspired her to become a singer.

Music Career

Libianca started her music career in 2019. In 2021, she competed at the NBC TV show, “The Voice”where she was coach by Blake Shelton. She did not win but made it to top 20.

After the show, Libianca released a song titled “Level” and in 2020 she released “My Place”. Following the sucess of the songs, she released “Special Lovin” in 2021.

Later, she got signed to 5K Records and Song records. In December of that year, Libianca released “People“. The song became a hit song which gave her breakthrough in to the entertainment industry.

Following the sucess of the singer, Libianca recorded a remix of People with Nigerian singers Ayra Starr and Omah Lay.
