Benue State Governor reconciles Channel Tv reporter with wife, after domestic violence allegations

Medical doctor, Ifeyinwa Angbo, who called out her husband, Pius Angbo, a staff of Channels TV, for allegedly beating her few weeks after giving birth to has reconciled with her husband.

Benue State Governor Dr. Samuel Loraer Ortom and his wife were reportedly the peace makers who reconciled the couple.

This came hours ago after Ifeyinwa shared her domestic violence story on social media. She stated that her husband has been beating her for years since they got married.

However, seem all is well with the couple as a new photo shows the couple with Benue State Governor, as they hug each other.


Governor Ortom met with the couple and counselled them to always settle their differences and shun the temptation of engaging in violence.

He stated that as a young couple with great potentials, the husband being a versatile journalist and the wife a medical doctor, there was the need for them to foster a strong union to serve as models to others.

Mr. Pius Angbo, also apologized to his wife over the assault on her, stressing that he also sought the forgiveness from the public.
