Charges against Omah Lay and Tems dropped in Uganda

Charges against first rising stars Omah Lay and Tems has been dropped in Uganda today, December 15.

A Chief Magistrate Court in Uganda dropped the charges filed against the Nigerian singers, Omah Lay and Tems following there performance in the country.

The singers were arrested on Sunday, December 13, and charged for breaking the COVID-19 guidelines and performing an illegal concert at Ddungu resort in Munyonyo.

The singers were also arraigned before the Makinye division court on Monday, December 14 and was reportedly remanded until Wednesday, December 16.

However,  Nigerians and some diplomatic outcry has led to the secure of their release and the charges against them have now been dropped.
