David Nwamini Ukpo is a young Nigerian organ harvesting victim involving former Nigerian Deputy Senate President Ike Ekweremadu and his wife Beatrice.

Born in October 12, 2000, Ukpo hails from Izzi Local Government Area of Ebonyi State but was living with his junior brother in Ikotun, Lagos.

Ukpo kidney was to be harvested in the United Kingdom and his kidney used for Sonia, the daughter Ike Ekweremadu.

The young man was lured to the United Kingdom with the promise of a good life if he donates his kidney. However, David changed his mind after the poor treatment he received from the couple.

The Nigerian couple have been arrested and charge in the UK for attempting to harvest the kidney of Ukpo. Also, their bail was denied by a London magistrates’ court after their arrest last Thursday, June 23, 2022.
