Mob burn Nnamdi Azikwe’s Status in Anambra State

The status of one of Nigeria’s pioneers, late Nnamdi Azikwe was burn down in Ontisha, Anambra State by mobs.

Nnamdi Azikwe’s status was located at Denis Memorial Grammar School Roundabout, Awka Avenue, Onitsha, known as Zik Roundabout.

Angry mobs took to the street to damage government properties, as they burned the status to the ground.

Azikiwe’s status was doused the statue with petrol and set ablaze, as mob accused Azikiwe for causing the problem of Nigeria.

The mob, were heard saying “you are the cause of Nigerians problem, you put us in this mess by championing one Nigeria”
