Female high school students in Kenya stage protest after some students were allegedly defiled by teachers and the principal tried to cover it up (Video)

Students of Lugulu Girls High School in Kenya marched on the streets of the country to protest against the alleged defilement of some of their mates by male teachers.

The student protested and accused the School principal of allegedly trying to cover up the defilement.

The students were reportedly seen marching along Webuye – Kitale highway as they made their way to Webuye police station after they failed to gain an audience with the ministry of Education in Webuye.

The school girls also claim several students have been raped in the school by teachers and people from neighbouring communities.

The latest case which led to the protest was the case of students who witnessed a teacher allegedly defiling a student but the Principal warned them against informing the parents of the victim or the public.

Reacting to the news, Kenyans citizens have called out the school as they claimed rape and molestation has been going on across the country.

Also, they claimed that victims always get silenced, or the male teacher will be transferred to a different school without being prosecuted.

Some rape apologists however tried to make a case for the teachers, claiming that students sometimes throw themselves at them.
