Photos of a man with dreadlocks ordained a Catholic priest in Canada has gone viral on social media.

The photos was shared by a Twitter user @MrObi_ as he asked if it was wrong for the priest to be ordained with his dreadlocks.

He tweeted; “A young man was ordained a Catholic priest with dread locks in Canada. What’s your view..?”

His question has sparked Twitter debate online, as Twitter users argued if its wrong for him to be ordained as a priest.

While some supported the dreadlocks, others believed it’s wrong for the Catholic Church yo ordain him a priest.

I think we have to get to a point where we actually realize that customs, traditions and the culture of other people are different from ours.

I don't see why every day, there's a new comparison of Christians here with Christians abroad.
