Comedian Princess Damilola: Biography, Career, Personal Life and Net Worth

Popularly known Princess Damilola, comedienne Damiola Adekoya is a popular Nigerian comedienne, actress, compere and a chef.

She started acting and featuring in the entertainment industry at a very tender age in 1970s.

Princess is from one of three major ethnic In Nigeria, the Yoruba tribe but lives in Lagos.

Personal Life 

Princess Damilola was born on March 8th in Ogun state, Nigeria but the date of her birth is yet unknown.

In May 6, the actress got married to the man of her dreams Adesola Jeremiah but the marriage hit the rock.

The plus size comedienne got divorced after her marriage crashed less than two weeks after her wedding.

Speaking on her marriage, Princess said she was hospitalized after her broke up due to psychological meltdown.

According to her, she is single and not in a relationship as she is focused on her career.

Education Background 

Princess Damilola attended college at Our Lady of Apostle Secondary school, Ijebu Ode. 

At tertiary level, she attended Federal Polytechnic Ilaro in Ogun state. She later studied at the University of Lagos.

Acting Career 

The motivational speaker started her career in the entertainment industry at a very young age.

She made her first appearance in a Nollywood drama titled “Half-Human, Half Animal”

In 2001, the comedienne career changed after she met actor Kayode Peter which saw her acting career.

Comedy Career

The multi-talented Princess started her comedy after she met Mike Adenuga who encouraged her to go into comedy after seeing her talent.

Princess have become more famous and popular, as one of the few woman to break in to a male dominated career. 

She has also featured in many Tv show, commercials and drama, including, My Flatmates, Super Story, and Black Sheep.

Controversy 

In April 2021, Princess accused popular Yoruba actor Baba Ijebu raping her 14 year old foster daughter.

The comedienne said CCTV captured the horrific child rape incident as she calls for the arrest of Ijesha.

This led to a controversy as many of Igebu supporters, slammed Princess for speaking up.

This led to public outrage, as Nigerians calls for the arrest of the Baba Ijebu by the police.
