Bukayo Ayoyinka Saka was born on September 5, 2001 in London Borough of Earling, United Kingdom. He is 22 years as of September of 2002.
His parent migrated from Nigeria to London in the 1960s for greener pastures. Saka’s is the last child out of two children born to Adenike Saka (mother) and Yomi Saka (father).
Saka is Yoruba, a tribe located at the South Western part of Nigeria. Although he is English, the famous player embraces his African heritage. His name “Bukayo” is a popular name used by the Yoruba people.

Saka attended Edward Betham Church of England Primary School. For his secondary school education, he attended Greenford High School where he obtained his GCSEs.
Before joining Arsenal, Saka played for Greenfield Celtic, a local youth football club where he grew up. While speaking on his childhood, Saka said his father is his inspiration.

Bukayo Saka’s mother Adenike is a Nigerian-London based chartered accountant in the United Kingdom. She is from the Yoruba tribe, South West, Nigeria.
Before moving to the UK in the 1980s, completed her high school education at Mayflower Secondary school, Lagos. She studied veterinary medicine at Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria.
After moving to London, Adenike Saka obtained a Diploma in accounting from University of West London. Since relocating abroad, she has earned several professional certificates. She currently works with O2 as a project Accountant-SMIP.
